The March 2024 General Election was a general election for the General Assembly in Cycoldia. It elected the Fourteenth General Assembly's March Assembly. It was the first time the Tulip or Labour Parties are partaking in a general election, as well as the first election following the founding of the New Liberals less than a month before. For the first time in Cycoldian politics, the election included several electoral pacts. As well it showed the end of the Unitary Party's opposition government, with all Unitary incumbents losing their seats to Tulip Party candidates.
Parties and Candidates
During the March 2024 general election, several pairs of political parties agreed to electoral cooperation, namely the Tulip Party and Labour Party mutually endorsing each other, commonly referred to as the Tulip-Labour Pact[b], and the Monarchist Party and Unitary Party partaking in a similar electoral alliance referred to as the Crown & Torch Pact. On the Monarchist Party's official ballot, UP's candidates were placed after the four Monarchists, while both the official Labour and Tulip voting recommendations placed each of their partners' candidates directly after their own. This was also the first Cycoldian election in which a foreign official endorsed a candidate, namely the President of Dubovia Michael Pocci,[c] endorsing Lewis Ross of the Labour Party.
During the sign up period for candidacies, Andrew Perdomo withdrew himself from Cycoldian politics and the elections on 23 March 2024. The same day, Myka Hrženjak announced their candidacy under the Monarchist Party.
Parliamentary parties
The table below lists the political party groups represented in the 13th General Assembly before the March 2024 general election. Non-Voting seats are not elected via Cycoldian general elections, and are instead sent as delegations from members of the Cycoldian Imperium, and therefore will only change if a member is replaced during the election.

List of Candidates
All incumbents ran for re-election, however one candidate dropped out of the election, with Andrew Perdomo withdrawing his candidacy when he withdrew from Cycoldian politics on 23 March, that being two days before the election. With this, Myka Hrženjak instead ran for the election under the Monarchist Party, however the sudden nomination and lack of campaigning able to be done for them has been hypothesised to have made their election significantly harder and possibly be a cause for their loss in the election, as well as the already lower numbers than predicted for the Monarchist Party.

Results
Following the tallying of votes, the Condorcet winner was tied between all candidates, and the winners were determined through Instant-runoff voting as dictated by the General Assembly. The IRV ranking placed Spokesman of the Tulip Party Plamen Iliev II in first, followed by Chief Marshal Brandon Mierzwa, with the two of them swapping seat placement due to the latter's guaranteed by his military post seat in the GA, the Officer's Seat, being 6th. This marked the first time a non-MP candidate placed first in a Cycoldian election of any sort. The two were followed by Leader of the Tulip Party Nicholas Lokin, Member of the 13th General Assembly for the Septenary Seat Mats Seifert and Deputy Prime Minister Maximilian Greig.
