The 2024 GA-Motion #147 Referendum was a referendum created via Motion #147. It was a consultative referendum on Cycoldia's observership in the Euro-Atlantic Cooperation Organisation and on if Cycoldia should join the Organisation of Democratic and Free Micronations. The motion was proposed by Christina I & II and passed on 4 April 2024. The referendum began on 4 May 2024 and ended on 10 May 2024, though it was officially closed by the Office of Parliamentary Affairs and did not have a formal end date.

GA-Motion #147-1

The first referendum question asked concerns membership in the Euro-Atlantic Cooperation Organisation, since Cycoldia is the only observer state in the organisation, the question asked if the respondent was in favour or against full membership, rather than the current observer status. This question as well has background in that some speculation has occured about the position in the organisation of observer, citing that the position has no major ties, and that it might be better to not continue having observer states, thus opting for full membership might become the only option to be a member of the Euro-Atlantic Cooperation Organisation.

GA-Motion #147-2

The second referendum question asked concerns membership in the Organisation of Democratic and Free Micronations, which Cycoldia previously had applied to, but withdrew the application after Dubovia had vetoed and later withdrew their veto following the information that Cycoldia does not plan to mutually recognise all micronations within the organisation, specifically not wishing to recognise Dubovia due to it being a state socialist centrally planned economy. Due to this, Cycoldia previously had withdrew the application, but following later news that Dubovia may not veto such an application, the referendum question was included to do a formal consulative referendum on if Cycoldia should submit a new application.
