The CYC Project is a sponsored citizen engagement program intended on increasing citizen participation within Cycoldia specifically on the websites PixelCanvas.io and Reddit's r/place. The programme is sponsored by the Ministry of the Interior, who previously has advertised participation in the activity in order to build designs related to Cycoldia on the 'canvas' of each website.
Function
CYC Project is led by Christina I & II in order to coordinate citizens in the placing of pixels on each website in order to creat intricate designs related to Cycoldia. Several of the designs have included the national flag, which was created successfully in r/place 2022 and on PixelCanvas, the coat of arms, created only on PixelCanvas, and a portrait of Christina I & II, which was created only on PixelCanvas.
Investigation
On 17 January 2023, the General Assembly informally voted in favour of creating a special investigation related to vandalism on the PixelCanvas website at the CYC Project's location, which occured on 14 January. The vandalism had replaced a design of the coat of arms of the Cycoldian Imperium with the coat of arms of another micronation named Juniperia, and had replaced the CYC Project discord QR code with one instead redirecting to a faked photo of Christina I & II beside the flag of the Nazi Party. The image was disproven by showing the original image, a frame from the official YouTube channel of Cycoldia. The vandalism was placed onto the website by robotic placing through proxies. The General Assembly approved the formation of the CYC Project Assembly Investigation Committee to investigate possible intervention from foreign governments into the creation of the vandalism.

On 21 January 2024 the design was beginning to be repaired, with the design being replaced again with the coat of arms of the Cycoldian Imperium as well as fixing the QR code to return back to the official discord server of the CYC Project. This began following a mass banning from the site administrators of botting services.
The final report of the CYC Project Assembly Investigation Committee was released on 30 January 2024. In it, it discussed a group named the "PixelEngravers" extensively, focusing on the group's member who goes by the pseudonym "Adepta" and stating that that member had been the one who had orchestrated the attack on the CYC Project. In the report it as well showed them admitting to having done it, and it stated that Juniperia had not attacked the design. The report explictly also stated that the PixelEngravers had links to far right SuperStraight movement as well as links to the extreme right through groups such as Kekistan and their extremely similar iconography to Nazi Germany. The report as well singles out the person named "Adepta" for things that they called themselves, the report alleging the person called themselves "Field Marshal Adepta, Head of the SS".[1]
