The First General Assembly was the first elected meeting of the General Assembly of Cycoldia, formed following the general election in Cycoldia during May 2019 under the new constitution of Cycoldia. While there had been a body called the General Assembly in April of 2019, the body had been a broad body of all citizens, and not an actual legislative body, as all authority to legislate still was vested within the crown. The First General Assembly was ended following the creation of the office of Prime Minister, when it was dissolved in leiu of the Second General Assembly.
Major Events
The 1st General Assembly was the body which rejected the Cannon Law of Texas as proposed by then United Imperial Empire Emperor Charles II, and was the body which openly declared independence against the UIE.
The 1st General Assembly however also passed the Extremism Act of 2019, which barred several extreme ideologies from forming political parties, however the original text of the bill as passed was lost, noting that the General Assembly had extremely inefficient record keeping at the time, resulting in many bills and acts being lost in their entirety.
The only two pieces of legislation which were recovered in their entirety were the Cannon Law of Texas, which failed the General Assembly twice, and the Anti-Dissent Act of 2019, which is kept in records as having been passed by the General Assembly. The Anti-Dissent Act of 2019 has been heavily criticised as it effectively outlawed free speech within Cycoldia for a temporary amount of time, until being repealed in its entirety after the Supreme Court (at the time known as the Court of Houston) had found it to be unenforcible.

This list includes all known members of the 1st General Assembly, since while records of party composition of the chamber were kept, the list of members has not been recovered since the time of it's initial formation.
