The Monarchy of Cycoldia is an office within the Grand Republic of Cycoldia in the form of a constitutional monarchy in which the position is hereditarily by absoltue primogeniture. As well the monarch of Cycoldia is the head of state of Cycoldia while also leading the Royal House of Nowell. The current incumbent is Christina I & II, who is also the founder of Cycoldia. The current heir is Prince Owen, who is Christina I & II's brother, and currently the Regency of Cycoldia is vacant. The current house that the monarch is in is the Royal House of Nowell, in which the head of the house is Christina I & II. The line of succession for the throne is currently through Prince Owen, then to Christina I & II's sister, Princess Alexandra. The Monarchy of Cycoldia has been in power for all of Cycoldian history, although the power of the monarch has greatly diminished since the founding of Cycoldia, in which the Constitution limited the power of the monarch away from their former absolute power. The Monarchy of Cycoldia also has been involved in multiple Cycoldian events, such as The First Cycoldian Civil War (Gavin's Uprising), The Second Cycoldian Civil War, The Third Cycoldian Civil War (General's Revolt), The Fourth Cycoldian Civil War, The Fifth Cycoldian Civil War (The Joint Rebellion), The Grand Rebellion (Revolt Against the UIE), and the Cycoldian Reformation. The Monarchy of Cycoldia also has been in charge of managing the Cycoldian Armed Forces, and has removed several Chiefs of the Armed Forces for various reasons.
