The National Intelligence Service or NIS TSL for short, is a branch of the Sohnlandic government that maintains the safety of and acts in the national interests of the Republic of The Sohnland and other cooperating micronations. The activities the Sohnlandic national intelligence service carries out and affiliates are not recorded or publicised.
Operations
The Sohnlandic national intelligence service maintains a network of individuals and organisations to facilitate in collecting valuable information from people of interest. The extent of the data the institution requests and collects is unknown. However, the national intelligence service does passively collect information from Sohnlandic sites using Sohnlandic network infrastructure and personal data from nationals and individuals abroad. This is done to measure and monitor world events for a better effective crisis response. The national intelligence service for the Republic of The Sohnland may also work in tandem with private investigators and local authorities.
