The Carnifron region hosts the national government of the Republic of The Sohnland in whole or part, along with enclaves of Carnifron City. The Carnifron Region is considered as second priority in terms of importance to the Mainland Sohnland due to their economic and cultural significance. With a population of two, they occupy an enclave of 305 square metres.

Etymology

Carnifron's name has been said rumoured to originate from an amalgamation of the word conifer in reference to the tall conifer trees thaat historically surrounded the capital city.

History

Although Carnifron City lays claim as the de facto capital of the Republic of The Sohnland as it is the home of the government, the de jure and cultural capital of The Sohnland is Dovedon.

Where Carnifron City with no clear defined borders it's hard to define what it actually is apart from The Sohnland being its much more successful successor state. When Carnifron was founded isn't known and historical records of it have either been lost or scattered. Carnifron City with its many enclaves is measured out to be about one square metre and with a registered population of just one..

Culture

Carnifron City derives most of its culture from the Republic of The Sohnland as a whole for the most part as ceremonial counties like that do not act as governing municipalities.
