Institute for Scientific Research and Space Observation
Officially the Institute for Scientific Research and Space Observation or otherwise simply known as the Sohnlandic Space Agency SSA, is where members of the Sohnlandic government conduct and gather research. The research conducted by this department of the Sohnlandic government is done in efforts to improve life in Republic of The Sohnland as a part of Sohnlandic technocracy.
Medical research

On 15 September 2023, Supreme Leader Ethan S. of the Republic of The Sohnland publicly announced his intentions to volunteer for medical research and testing for various disease factors. His intentions with volunteering would also contribute to medical research and the understanding of cancer, heart disease, stroke, and other diseases and complications.
Space research
The Institute for Scientific Research and Space Observation is still new and in development and has not announced or conducted any research regarding outer space as of writing. The Republic of The Sohnland is yet to purchase the necessary equipment for space observation.
