The 2019 Plamist Leadership Election was an internal party vote that decided who would be the first parliamentary elected Plamian Prime Minister. It was the result of the Plamist International Party's landslide in the 2019 Plamian General Election without a clear choice of leadership aside from President Plamen Iliev. It was held on the 8th of November, with only the 27 members of the PIP being permitted to vote. It ended up a three way split vote between party founder Georgei Lovejoy, general Mihael Mishev and MP Alexey Petrinin, who represented the left, center and right wing of the social democratic party. The only member of the party to not vote for any candidate was the then leader and soon to be international leader of the PIP, Plamen Iliev. After Lovejoy's endorsement upon placing third, Mishev finally won out against Petrinin, earning him the position of Prime Minister which he still holds to this day.
