Dove Archives

DoveArchives.wiki

I am the owner of the Dove Archives (dovearchives.wiki). The Dove Archives wiki site like MicroWiki created for being an alternative online encyclopædia for micronations; allowing users to have more control over the articles they make. The Dove Archives allows its users to request for their articles and information to be deleted, to not abide by a mandatory manual of style, and allowing users protect their pages for any or no reason. The Dove Archives was originally just a wiki site for The Sohnland. Hence the former name "TheSohnlandWiki". The site gradually transitioned itself to be a wiki for anyone or any micronation as it unintentionally became the online encyclopædia where users fleeing MicroWiki would go to. These users leaving MicroWiki cited reasons for their departure such as being victim to annoying editors that would mess with their articles by either breaking code or getting facts wrong, a disliking to MW administration, not liking the manual of style, and etc. Created not to replace MicroWiki but to be an alternative that is availible for anyone to use, as previously there was no other option.

The idea for creating TheSohnlandWiki (Now the DoveArchives), originally came Black January as MW users and members of the micronational community discussed possible solutions for leaving MicroWiki by creating their own wiki site.
