Dubovia, officially the Socialist Republic of Dubovia (Slovak: Dubovianska socialistická republika), is a socialist micronation, which borders with Slovakia. Dubovia was founded in August 2023 by Mišo, who now holds the office of President of the Republic.

Etimology

Dubovia is named after the Czechoslovak leader Alexander Dubček, known as one of the leading figures of the Prague Spring.

Dubovia borders with Slovakia and is subdivided into six regions.

Politics

Dubovia is a Socialist multi-party Democracy. It has an unitary and parliamentary system. The head of state is the President, indirectly elected by the Supreme People’s Assembly, which functions as legislature. The head of government is the Prime Minister, they are appointed by the President and need to gain the confidence of the Supreme People’s Assembly. The Supreme People’s Assembly is elected through an open list proportional system, is composed by seven deputies and has a term of four months.
