Digi Micro Summit was a micronational summit that took place on the 29th of July and on the 30th of July, in the Metaverse. The summit was organized by the Grand Miner President of the Democratic Republic of Satoshi and the Sovereign Princess of the Principality of Sancratosia.
It was the first virtual summit that aimed to replicate the experience of in-person summits such as MicroCon or PoliNation.
Origins
The Democratic Republic of Satoshi started developing the idea for a virtual micronational summit in May 2022. The solution of hosting the summit in the Metaverse proved to be the one that provided the closest experience to that of other in-person summits.
The Principality of Sancratosia joined the organization of the summit on 25 May 2022.
On 6 July 2022, the summit was officially advertised to the micronational community.[1]
