The Parliament of the Republic of Vinland (also referred as the Vinlandic Parliament) is the bicameral legislative body of the Republic of Vinland, and is composed of The Supreme Court and the Congress. However, the Government hold the Executive power within the Country. The functioning was established by the Constitution of the Republic of Vinland of September 21st 2023. However the Parliament is not functioning at the moment due to the lack of citizens within the Republic.
No citizen is allowed to be in office both in the Supreme Court and in thee Congress, they are also forced to swear a public oath before entering Office.
The Congress
The Congress is the Lower Chamber of the Vinlandic Parliament. It is composed of seven Representatives elected every three years by the Vinlandic citizens through a direct ballot.

During their term, the Representatives are tasked with representing the citizens before the Government and the Supreme Court, and to write, debate, amend, and vote the laws applied within the Republic of Vinland. They can also collaborate with the Government to create event and develop the country.
At the end of their terms, the Representatives are allowed to rerun for Office as much as they many times as they wish to.
The Supreme Court
The Supreme Court is the Higher Chamber of the Vinlandic Parliament. It is composed of three Honorable Judges nominated for a six years term by the President of the Republic of Vinland.
During their mandate, the Supreme Court's Honorable Judges are tasked with ensuring the integrity of the Congress as well as the Constitutionality of the laws passed by the Congress. They are also in charge of the Judiciary procedures against the Government. They are also allowed to discharge Judges who allegedly failed to their functions. In some circumstances planned by the law to create a Special Investigation Commission, to investigate the activities of the Government.
Functioning
When a law project is proposed to the Congress, all the Representatives are allowed to debate the Project and to propose amendments. Once all the amendments have been voted, and the law approved, it will be send to the Supreme Court where the Honorable Judges will ensure that the voted law follow the Constitution. If the law is approved, the President will promulgate it, otherwise it will be send back to the Congress to rewrite it until approval. For some laws the President is also allowed to veto some laws from the Congress.
