The Ministry of Welfare & Education is one of the main ministries of the Republic of Vinland and was set to replace the Ministry of Happiness, but is often referred to by its former name.
Its main goal is to ensure the welfare of the citizens, and on a larger scale of the inhabitants of Vinland. It emphasizes the sectors of education, health, etc. The Ministry of Welfare & Education also work to enforce and support gender equality in Vinland. However since the February 2024 reforms, the charge of sustainable development were mostly transferred to the Ministry of Environment & Energy, while the supervision of Justice was given to the Attorney General.
