State of Gwyneddia. more commonly known as Gwyneddia is an micronation located within the macronation Wales, it first declared independence on the 23 May 2023 from the United Kingdom, it is a Federal Parliamentary Republic lead by an llywydd and an Is-lywydd

Etymology

The name Gwyneddia comes from the Welsh Language.

History

The State of Gwyneddia was formed on the 23 May 2023 after the declaration of independence was signed by the former first llywydd, The nation was left inactive for a year until the current llywydd took over the nation and begun reforms.

Politics and government

The Government of Gwyneddia is a Federal Parliamentary Republic with a multi party system.

Early government

When Gwyneddia first formed its government it was an 2 party system with the Green Party and the Labour Party.

llywydd (Head of state)

The llywydd is the Head of State for Gwyneddia, the leader of the biggest political party in government is made the llywydd, the roles of the llywydd is running the government and keeping national services running.

Is-lywydd (Head of government)

The Is-lywydd is the Head of Government and the chair to the llywydd, they will do the same roles as the llywydd when they are busy or out of office and will act as a caretaker to the llywydd.
