Etymology
History
Government
The government is headed by a Popular Assembly, which is elected once a year and consists of half of the nation's population. People who serve in the Popular Assembly cannot be elected twice back-to-back, but besides that term limits are nonexistent. The Popular Assembly is the legislative branch and power. The Popular Directory is the executive and judicial branch, and is headed by five Consuls, with the First Consul being the most powerful member of the body. The nation is a one-party state headed by the Popular Patrol of Bie My But. The First Consul is elected to serve for life, while the Second and Third Consuls are elected two serve for three years, and the Fourth and Fifth Consuls are elected to serve for two years.
Constitution
The constitution is the Federacy Plan of Bie My But. The constitution is known as the Federacy Plan, and it is based off of the 1776 Pennsylvanian Constitution.
Ideology and Religion
The state ideology is known as Federacy, which is described as a Paternalistic Conservative ideology that desires to create a society that is truly equal and peaceful through directorial and democratic government. The ideology desires for a society that promotes total equality through modesty and social regimentation and social organization around communitarianism. The ideology is rabidly Anti-Sexualist, deeming society full of what it calls "Raunchist" ideas. The term is derived from the word "raunchy".
The nation follows the religion of Islam. However, it follows the specific beliefs and ideas of Muhammad Ahmad, a Sudanese Muslim revolutionary who established a country known as the Mahdist State, which lasted from 1885 to 1898 as it attempted to free Sudan from British colonial rule. It believes that Muhammad Ahmad is the Mahdi. The Shahadah is recognized as "I recognize that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and that Muhammad Ahmad is the Mahdi of Allah and is the Representative of his Prophet". Service in the Jihad is recognized as the replacement of the Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca. Zakat is the state tax. There are three obligatory prayers a day.
